Barneys “BazDazzled” Holidays Windows by Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin, makeup designed by me!

The Barneys New York window display is an iconic symbol of the holiday season. The world famous director and production design team, Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin collaborated with Barneys to create an extravagant window display that included LIVE entertainers. The “BazDazzled” holiday shop and window displays kicked off with singers, dancers, elves, a drum-line, royal attendants, and skaters inside the windows and outside on Madison Avenue. With guidance from Baz, Catherine, as well as the costume designers, Zaldy and Plume, I designed the makeup for the performers which included CHANEL Rouge Allure lipsticks, Aqualumiere Foundation, and my own custom appliques made of metallic lace, rhinestones, chrome, paillettes, studs, glitter, elf ears, and much more.

Watch the behind the scenes video for footage of the creative process and the opening night spectacular including interviews with Baz Luhrmann, Catherine Martin, Barneys’ Creative Director, Dennis Freeman, plus close ups shots of me working on the performers:
